喻祖国,二级教授。1997年复旦大学数学系博士毕业, 1997年至1999年中国科学院理论物理研究所博士后,曾全职在澳大利亚从事研究工作6年(2000-2003,2005-2008)。现任湘潭大学副校长、“智能计算与信息处理”教育部重点实验室主任、统计学科负责人、湖南省第六届学位委员会委员、第八届湖南省督学、湖南省数理类专业教指委秘书长,是湖南省“芙蓉学者计划”特聘教授、国务院政府特殊津贴专家、教育部创新团队负责人、教育部“新世纪人才计划”人选, SCI期刊J. Nonlin. Math. Phys. (IF: 1.163 for 2021) 编委, SCI期刊Current Bioinformatics (IF: 4.850 for 2021, Q1)、Mathematics (IF: 2.592 for 2021, Q1) 的客座编委。先后获得中国高校科学技术二等奖、国家级教学成果二等奖1项(排名第6)、湖南省教学成果一等奖3项(分别排名第1、第2、第5)、湖南省自然科学二等奖2项(均排名第1)和湖南青年科技创新奖杰出奖(单独)等教学科研奖励;主持国家重大研发计划课题、国家自然科学基金项目6项、教育部创新团队项目、霍英东青年基金项目等的研究。多年来在Mol.
